This week I highlighted four players I've been very impressed by, and after that I kind of just spilled my thoughts and notes onto the paper. Some of those spilled thoughts happened to be about an already polarizing quarterback prospect, who's drawing mixed reviews from evaluators for a number of reasons.

After two weeks of no change in the NUC Sports National High School Top 25 a couple of ranked schools succumbed to the loss column. Falling out of the Top 25 is St. John Bosco (Calif.) and Clinton (Miss.).
There are a couple of big changes in the NUC Sports Team Rankings this week. Alabama moves to #1 with the commitment of tight end Major Tennison of Bullard (Texas). Tennison is a Southwest Top 60 and Ultimate 250 prospect giving the Crimson Tide 1.5 recruiting points.
Quarterbacks have won this award 11 of the last 12 years. Last Year Eastern Washington receiver Cooper Kupp broke the quarterback streak becoming only the second wide out to ever win this prestigious award; the first being Brian Finneran in 1997.
In version 1.0 of the 2016 NUC Sports FCS Offensive Player of the Year Watch list we start out with ten. There are four quarterbacks, three wide receivers, two running backs and one tight end. The conference breakdown goes like this MVFC (3), Patriot (2), SoCon (2), Big Sky (1), MEAC (1) and Southland (1).

Last year the state produced nine FBS signees. The Constitution State already has 14 players committed to DI colleges and that number should increase.
Last year the state only produced two FBS signees. As of September, 8 only three players are verbally committed to DI colleges. The nine year average is 6.3 FBS signees per recruiting cycle.

Moving into the Top 25 for the second time this year is Eastern Illinois at #24. The Panthers were one of three FCS teams to knock off an FBS opponent this week by beating Miami of Ohio 21-17.
It was another rough week for teams in the NUC Sports National High School Top 25. Four teams fell to the loss column with three teams falling out of the Top 25. St. John Bosco (Calif.) lost a tough one to #1 Bishop Gorman (Nev.) 35-20; The Braves drop to #10.

Three ranked teams gave way to the loss column this past week; two of which fall completely out of the Top 25. Corona Centennial (Calif.) fell 50-49 in the waning moments of the game to IMG Academy (Fla.). With the loss the Huskies drop to #18.

Below are those players that have been selected to the NUC Sports FCS First Team. Each player is listed with school, year of eligibility for the 2016 season and their respective 2015 statistics or awards.
DJ Cameron has recently heard from several NFL teams as this sleeper prospect continues to rise. Most recently his agent David Schuman has gotten inquiries from several teams including Chargers, Colts, and Texans.
Virginia Tech running back JC Coleman can quite simply be described as a pure change of pace speedster. NFL Scouts have been very impressed with the speed and athleticism of the former Hokie. He is one of the few backs who can catch, run and return very well. His vast array of skills would make an asset to any team in the league. He has generated interest from the Chargers, Jets, Colts, and Jaguars. Most recently the Bears have reached out to JC Coleman.
Adam Fuehne rated at top 10 Tight End according to NFLDraftBible.com and rated by CBS Draft Scout as a drafted tight end had over 12 teams reach out to him and 2 top 30 visits with the Chargers and the Lions.

Brett McMakin, who some have as a top ILB and others have as a top OLB, had a 2nd pro day after competing in his first only 8 days after a life threatening appendectomy.
Brandon Williams is what many scouts would consider a freak athlete. He is the size of an NFL linebacker, yet at his pro day Williams ran a 4.69 40 yard dash, a time that ranks better than some receivers at the NFL Combine. ​Williams then followed that up by jumping a 37 inch vertical, which would have been enough to rank him second among all defensive lineman and fourth among all linebackers at the NFL Combine this year.
Uconn running back Max DeLorenzo can quite simply be described as a jack of all trades. NFL Scouts have been very impressed with the versatility of the former Husky. As a 5'11" and 216 pound running back, Max has the build of an NFL back. His vast array of skills would make an asset to any team in the league.
